WHITETROL® X polymer is white synthetic polymer designed for extreme temperature drilling environments. The structure of WHITETROL® X features strongly bonded chemical linkages and cross-linked chains which deliver exceptional high temperature stability. This key product serves as primary filtration control agent for WHITE SHARK® HTHP WBM. It performs well in freshwater, seawater, monovalent and divalent muds with thermal stable above 450°F. In the extreme temperature field application, it is recommended to use WHITEMP® when BHT under 400°F and replaced with WHITETROL® X when BHT above 400°F. WHITETROL® X has field application that being used up to 500°F.
• Effective HPHT filtration control agent, core product of WHITE SHARK® HPHT water-based mud system
• Functions in fresh water, seawater, monovalent and divalent muds, but does not perform well with formate
• Multifunctional, high temperature additive provides filtration control, inhibition and viscosity
• Stable at temperature above 450°F
• Improves drilling fluid suspension properties and mitigate barite sag issue under extreme HT environment
• Calcium tolerant to 100,000ppm
